Calling For Entries

My daugther loves books, and she called the Chapters Bookstore her "Library", where we paid a visit today.

There we met Russell Twyce at his book signing booth, the author of Shiva's Messenger, a fiction about the JFK shooter asking his son to finish the conspiracy by assassinating another president. Before reading his book, I found this former Fire Chief's own brought-back-from-death story already very interesting.

I suddenly realized there is a strong link between us and Russell. Shiva's Messenger itself is a interesting project, both the writing of it and selling of it. And WaP helps people to tell the stories behind their projects. I think when the readers find Russell an interesting person and discover the behind-the-scene stories of the book-writing, the reading experience can become more personal. Reading a friend's book is more enjoyable than reading a stranger's.

So I'll contact Russell after the weekend. See how will turn out.
